On my mind

Couple of things been on my mind.

Just a few things that have been on my mind as of late, One I have notice the large amount of people who starting their own photography business or side business as of late and I am wondering why that is. Could this be the newest trend in home businesses or does the saying go Photographers are a dime a dozen at this rate more like a penny. I am not saying that people should not pursue there goals it just seem like a very big trend going on.

Second thing that really been on my mind as of late is all the negative that goes on. I notice this in my life and I am not sure if  all lot going on else where too.  Here of late every thing I do is wrong or incorrect choice , and many of my close friends and family keep reminding me.
My choice on the type of  Doctor I am seeing to treat my back problems for one. Every one that I have talk to with a very few exceptions and I mean few like two suggest that the doctor I am seeing only making things worst and I should go see a specialist, but isn't I who knows my body the best can only decide if the treatment making it worst. My thought is no I did not get better over night , no he did not just give me pain killers and muscle relaxers and tell me to go see another Doctor.  Does this doctor listen to me ? yes is he taking time to help my body heal even though it not taking over night. I like to think of it this way he fixing the problem not covering it up with medication like so many like to do.
I have seen my mom let shoot her up with drugs that will mess other things up and then when it gets really bad surgery is the only option. No thanks
Other things besides my choice of doctor, our choice of putting the kids in karate, where we put them in karate at seriously, if I take them out they do not get enough exercise outside of school, our schedule does not allow all lot of family time, we've made great friends through the program. Do we have complaints about things sometimes.
I swear every time I turn around someone saying something neg to me or about my choices, To tell you the truth I can't remember when someone said anything good about anything I have done.
Negativity spread like a virus it time to make it stop and it so very easy . Do speak anything neg and start telling people positive things.

past year

It's been awhile since I posted anything , perhaps I thought I had nothing worth while to post.
Most of my stuff ends up on face book and since I only have one main reader here I thought why post it twice.
 Today is New years Eve just less then 12 hours away from a new year!
I thought that I might  reflect on what has happen  this pasted year.
I what comes to memory first is my Uncle Dave passing away this year on Mothers Day. Many of us knew that it was only a matter of time before he was going to leave us, but no ones guess was how.
Andy for the past year had been going over to my uncle house on some what of a daily basis to help my uncle with some personal care needs, in return Andy found a friend someone he could talk to. They became close friends. Two days before Mothers Day ( which is also Dessa Birthday) My Uncle took Andy, Sebastian and Shannon my cousin husband out to the D-backs game for a guys night out, While us girls had a girls evening. A day after late in the even my uncle was taken to Mayo ER. He passed early morning on Mothers day.  He's still watching over his family and us since.

In September we took the kids to San Diego for a Karate tournament and a mini Family vacation.
With the help of family and good friends saving bottles and cans for the kids to recycle the money they saved help go towards the tournament. While there we got to experience a power blackout and many other fun things.
We had fun taking the kids to the beach and playing in the water even though it was icy cold.
The tournament was also a fun experience to see how other states runs The kids took third in most of there events. What a learning experience we had,we hope to go again next year.

Other than these to big events in or life, we have experience a multitude of car issue and some minor health problems mainly me. Our jobs we dealt with many quick changes including transferring to a new building , the department buy out and now we patiently await to see if we got hire on with the new company.

What's New with us?

Let's see...The kids are back to school thank the goddess! Seb is in fourth grade wow I know it feels just like only yesterday he was just starting school. This year he gets to do Orchestra he really want to due band but we ran into a small snag, We thought to get him into music and really learning what it all takes that starting with orchestra was the way to go.  He picked out the cello and was one of the few that was able to get an school instrument the only snag here is he had to agree to play all three years . I am good with it I will jus seek out side help for band maybe if he willing I can teach him the Saxophone. In just a short few months he will be turning ten double digits.

  Odessa is now a 2nd grader and she also has new changes this year. She cut her hair!  She went from this .....

 it's just too darn cute and so much easier on me.

Karate is going well since siging them up we have seen all lot of Changes in the kids there is still all lot of room for growth her and I am waiting for the day when it all Clicks. As of now the kids are Purple belts and soon to be Blue this means half way to Black. We have alot of tournaments coming up and Invite everyone to come attend. Coming up is this weeking in San Diego yeah a force Vacation!
Soon after October 1st there one in Phoenix civic center and then October 29th and In school this one ais Free to all specators....

My beautiful birthday girl

A girls night.  On Thursday of Last week we had a girls night out while the boys went to the D-back game. Dess , me Aunt Jamie and Great aunt Jan and little miss Carlin. We had dinner at the Claim jumper, then went birthday shopping Dess got to pick out two outfits on her own, She was so Happy.
Before heading out I put her hair up and we did make up and painted her nails. Then while we waited for our ride I snapped a few pictures. She was a little disappointed she didn't get to go with the boys to the game,but we had a great time.
 It's hard to believe my little girl is now 7 and has 3 boyfriends so she says..

On this day May 8th 2011

Bringers of life, Celebration of life and the End of life.

 Today May 8th 2011  we celebrate mothers who have brougth life into this world and set aside things to make sure the wells being of their children. My grandmother had four children and raised them on less then what many of us make in a month. My mother raised me the best she could with not much of any guidance her mother passed away when she was young. Being a  mother now myself I set aside things that I once thought was important and a must. The most important thing to me is my children's health and well being and if I have to sacrifice things to do so I do. Today is the one day we set aside to honor our mothers hard work and dedication

My hard work and dedication brings on the Celebration of Life. My daugther has made it see the age of seven, any other time I could take this day for granted , but after this weekend events I realize that each day we are given is a PRESENT and we should try to make the best of each day there are so many things that can happen to a person that even the healthest person can not fore see the day there time is up. So many things could of happen to my daught between the day she was born to today. Seven yrs old is young but it is Amazing. I scoffed turing 32 but hey I have manage to survive 32 yrs  with out any near death experince .  As we celebrate the birthday of my daugther we also are sadden by the lost of another.

My uncle pasted away this morning, it still seems to be a bit sureal to me. This did not come as a shocker in fact he was very lucky to have lived this long. I believe he knew his time was coming to an end. Every day was a challenge for him and everyday he pursued his goals. My uncle was a great man, hard at times but help thoes in need. Life goes on and we must live each day no matter what life throws our way to the best of our ability to not do so would not honor him.
